Keeping your bike running in tip top condition is essential to get you the best riding experience. Here at Peterborough Cycle Hub, we pride ourselves on our passion, workmanship and attention to detail when it comes to servicing your pride and joy or your daily commute.

We service and repair all makes and models of bikes including electric, no job is too or too small. We offer a free no obligation pre-service check on every bike to give you peace of mind that there will be no hidden costs or added extras while your bike is in for service. Any additional work needed will be authorised by you before it is carried out so you are fully in control of your bike and there’ll be no unexpected shocks on collection.

We offer 3 levels of service’s to suit every bike and rider: Bronze, Silver and Gold. To determine which service package suits you best we advise you to contact our service team and we will help advise you.

BRONZE £55

Carry out visual inspection
Nut and bolt check bike
Adjust gear indexing front and rear
Check rear derailleur hanger alignment
Check / adjust headset bearings
Check and set correct tyre pressure
Check and adjust brakes

SILVER £85

Bronze service plus:

Clean bike
Full de-grease of the drivetrain
Remove, grease and refit pedals
Remove, clean, grease and refit seat post
Remove, clean, grease and refit chain set & bottom bracket
Remove wheels to check spoke tension and true if required
Remove, clean, grease and refit front forks and headset bearings

Other services available:

Service Wash & de-grease – £40

If your bike is used regularly, it will always need a thorough wash, de-grease and lubrication service. Adjustments to the bike may only need to be minor but it would leave the bike so much smoother and quieter. This service will help increase the lifespan of your components, therefore reduce the service costs in the future.

Bottom bracket service – £25

This service is designed to stop those annoying creaks! Remove, clean and de-grease the chain set and bottom bracket. Grease and refit. If the bottom bracket needs replacing there will be an additional charge for parts.

Wheel truing – £18 per wheel

It’s inevitable that we hit potholes or head down a beaten track that’s a little worse than intended! Buckled wheels unfortunately happen and we recommend that you have your wheels trued at least once a year for optimum riding.

Puncture repair – £10

We will happily change the inner tube on any bike. Required inner tube is an additional cost.

Di2 Diagnostic – £35 per hour

As electronic gears are becoming more popular, there is an increasing need for keeping the software up to date. We offer current updates and diagnostic work on all makes and models.

***Any cycles left on our premises that are not paid for or collected within 3 months will be disposed of. We will class these bikes as abandoned***
